YouTube ‘removed’ Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Badoo Badi again

The happiness of self-described musician Chahat Fateh Ali Khan at having his newly hit song Badoo Badi returned on his YouTube channel was short-lived as the video-sharing site removed it again.

A day before, the online sensation was celebrating the return of his video, which went viral and was included into several TikTok and Instagram Reels videos worldwide. It had received about 30 million views.

The artist claims that immediately after the strike on his video—which was imposed following a complaint from the official channel of the late, great singer Noorjahan—was lifted, the video was removed once more after it was reported for copyright violation by another channel.

The performer had already uploaded another video of the same song, which likewise drew a copyright strike, after the original one was removed. Though the impact of the strike prevented it from being monetized, YouTube did not remove the video.

The singer also debuted Bado Badi 2, his second Eid-ul-Adha version of the hit song, last week, but opted not to post it on YouTube.

Chahat informed Geo News that he will not be exploiting the song on YouTube to stay out of trouble.

The new model in the updated version is yet unidentified by name. Model Wajdan Rao, who had a falling out with Chahat and claimed the singer had only paid her Rs5,000 for her labor, was in the original video.

The official Chahat Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts now include the Bado Badi 2. Chahat promised to provide several Bado Bado versions.
