PFF Invites Volunteers for the National Women’s Championship to Improve Pakistan Football

Applications for the National Women’s Football Club Championship 2024 have been opened by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). Four big cities— Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Quetta—will host initial group stage events for the event.

While the confirmation forms can be submitted to qjamshaid.pff@gmail.com and hussain.pff@gmail.com, the invites have already been delivered to the registered clubs of Pakistan Football Connect (PFC).

The PFC registered clubs for the National Women’s Football Club Championship 2024 have until July 9, 2024.

Once the final confirmation of the participating teams comes, the preliminary group stage calendar will be published. A safeguarding session will also be held to guarantee every player’s safety and welfare.

Notwithstanding outstanding performance, the women’s team has not taken part in any international games since FIFA does not provide financing to the Pakistan Football Federation.
Originally scheduled for 2021, the National Women’s Championship was suddenly canceled after former PFF Chairman Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah attacked the PFF office.

For the national women’s team lacking a suitable domestic competition to develop their talents, the National Women’s Championship can be a breath of new air.
