In 2012 Ali Sheikhani, a Pakistani-American entrepreneur residing in Houston, Texas, established the Sheikhani Group which he currently serves as its chairman. His business portfolio encompasses a wide range of ventures, such as retail chains, petrol stations, and shopping plazas, with a particular emphasis on property development and management.

Sheikhani’s latest objective is to obtain K-Electric, the primary power company in Karachi, in order to address the persistent electrical issues in the city. He underscores that his foremost concern is the well-being of the public rather than pursuing financial gain.

These enhancements will involve constructing new grid stations and transmission links to augment the electricity provision in Karachi. Sheikhani’s method presents an alternative solution to the power problems in the city, with the goal of delivering more dependable electricity to the people of Karachi.

His dedication to the well-being of the people and his extensive experience in overseeing different enterprises establish him as a remarkable individual in this potential takeover, aiming to bring beneficial transformations to Karachi’s power industry.
