Scholarship worth, components and duration

A Rhodes Scholarship pays for two economy class flights to and from the UK at the start and conclusion of the student’s academic career in Oxford, as well as all university and college fees, a living stipend of £19,092 year (AY 2023/24); settling in allowance, health insurance, and a visa.

Qualifications

All applicants are subject to the following qualifying requirements for the Rhodes Scholarships:
Citizenship and residency: Every applicant must meet the standards of the Rhodes constituency for which they are submitting an application.
Age: To complete your professional internship, you must be between the ages of 18 and 24 on October 1, 2024 (i.e., born after October 1, 1999, and on or before October 2, 2006), OR, if you are a student of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, law, or engineering, you must be between the ages of 18 and 24 on October 1, 2024.
You have to be between the ages of 18 and 25 on October 1, 2024 (born after October 1, 1998, but before October 2, 2006) OR (for older candidates who finished their first undergraduate degree later than typical)
You must have been born after October 1, 1997, and be under 27 on October 1, 2024. Additionally, you must have earned your first undergraduate degree on or before October 1, 2023.
Education: Applicants must have fulfilled the specific entrance requirements of your selected full-time course at the University of Oxford, having completed an undergraduate degree (usually a Bachelor’s degree) with an academic background and grade of First Class Honours Degree or equivalent.
The highest grade your university can provide in the medical, dental, or pharmacy programs—for example, a Distinction—is comparable to a first-class honors degree.
Candidates who possess an honors degree (or have completed an honors year) from a university outside of their country, or who have completed master’s-level coursework within their country, will have a higher chance of being admitted to Oxford, given the highly competitive international competition for spots at the University of Oxford.
English Language: To meet the University of Oxford’s criteria for English language competency, you must speak English to a high enough level (at the Higher Level specified).
