As Israeli troops step up their attacks, people are facing a “apocalyptic” medical situation
Israeli bombing has gotten worse in many places in the last couple of hours. Again, evacuation centres are the main target, says Tariq Abu Azzoum for Al Jazeera from Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army attacked a school run by the UN that is an evacuation point in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City. There have been 15 injuries and at least three deaths among Palestinians.
As the attacks continued to destroy homes, things were getting really bad on the ground. In the southern part of Gaza, more than 10 Palestinians from the same family were killed in Khan Younis city after their house was totally destroyed.
But there have also been loud blasts in Deir el-Balah town, where at least two Palestinians were killed when they were hit directly by a drone missile while trying to get back to their homes.
The hospital is having a hard time taking care of the patients and even hurt people who have come in the last couple of hours. The medical situation is very bad and looks like the end of the world because there aren’t enough basic supplies.
In the next few hours, the number of deaths could really speed up and go up.
